Product description

Combining the visual weight of metal with the workability of acrylic, this silver 3mm metallic sheet provides a sophisticated surface for branding, architectural detailing, and premium display work. The metallic pigment is distributed throughout the full sheet thickness for consistent results on cut and machined edges. This sheet is manufactured from 100% recycled acrylic and is fully recyclable at end of life — delivering the same premium metallic finish with a reduced environmental impact.

Up to 17 times more impact-resistant than glass and roughly half the weight, metallic acrylic is a practical, durable material for both interior and exterior installations. The UV-stable metallic finish resists colour shift and degradation, maintaining its lustre over extended service life. Both faces carry a high-quality finish for a professional appearance straight from the sheet.

Widely used for premium brand signage, laser-cut lettering, corporate reception panels, awards, trophies, and decorative furniture components. The silver metallic surface adds a distinguished quality to retail displays, exhibition stands, and architectural feature panels. Compatible with laser cutting, CNC routing, drilling, and thermoforming. Supplied with protective film and available cut to size.

Properties

Sustainability Credentials

  • 100% recycled content: Manufactured entirely from recycled acrylic material, diverting plastic waste from landfill and reducing demand for virgin raw materials.

  • No quality compromise: Recycled acrylic performs identically to virgin cast acrylic in terms of optical clarity, colour consistency, impact resistance, and machinability.

Optical & Aesthetic Properties

  • Vibrant colour: The silver pigment is consistent throughout the full 3mm sheet thickness, with cut edges displaying the same colour as the surface.
  • High-gloss finish: Polished on both faces for a smooth, professional appearance.

Usage

Sustainable Signage & Displays

  • Eco-conscious branding: Recycled silver acrylic allows businesses to meet sustainability targets without compromising on visual quality. It is used for retail signage, corporate reception panels, and exhibition stands where environmental credentials matter.
  • Point-of-sale and merchandising: Vibrant colour saturation and consistent pigmentation make recycled acrylic indistinguishable from virgin material in retail display applications.

Interior Design & Architecture

  • Splashbacks and feature panels: Recycled silver acrylic is waterproof, UV-stable, and fully suitable for kitchen splashbacks, bathroom panels, and decorative wall features in both residential and commercial settings.
  • Glazing and screening: A shatterproof, lightweight alternative to glass for partitions, privacy screens, and secondary glazing — with the added benefit of being manufactured from 100% recycled material.

Craft, Fabrication & Education

  • Fully compatible with laser cutting, CNC routing, and thermoforming. Popular among makers, schools, and fabrication workshops for awards, signage, jewellery, and bespoke projects.
  • Being 100% recyclable at end of life, this material supports a circular approach to plastic use — particularly relevant for educational institutions and organisations with sustainability policies.
